PIEPIEPIE.
About a week ago Boy and I went hiking and picked a ton of blackberries! When life gives you berries: bake pie.
It's 100% delicious. And vegan!

A Day in the Life: The End of the Term Blues
Its nearing the end of spring term and I am so over EVERYTHING! The only thing that keeps me going is my precious caffine. <3 Especially coffee of course.
I'm starting some new projects I cannot wait to share with everyone once I'm through with finals. Keep an eye out!

A Day In The Life: Belated Crystal Castles review
Finals have had me in a study coma for the past week or so so now has been my first chance to chronicle Crystal Castles @ The Roseland in Portland, Or. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of Nubby, not that she said she was going to be there but ya never know okay? Maybe one of these days I'll run into her at some Portland hotspot.
So, these pictures were taken after the show, when we were really sweaty and my camera was dying and the flash was fading and everything was wrong! so excuse the quality. My outfit wasn't that exiting- vintage floral print dress: thrifted value village, motorcycle jacket: thrifted Goodwill, Hosiery: Old Navy, boots: Demonia.
The Boy was being dramatic.

The Boy took me to one of his favorite restaurants in Portland. Bay Leaf is veggie friendly! (Boy is vegan) He had cold noodles and I had the hawaiian fried rice.

All in all amazing show. Got in a fight, danced, (didnt drink?!), ate sum yummy food!

Crystal Castles were great- Alice preformed with a broken ankle!? And she still did all her usual crazy shenanigans. And apparently her new look is sporting a cutoff mid-drift tee with a knee-length skirt. I wasn't sure of this at first but she is the only one who can pull this off!

A Day in the Life: Mukilteo Beach
The first week of my summer vacation has come and gone and I already feel like I've done an entire summer's worth of shit! Recently returned from my parents house up in Mukilteo Washington and my favorite thing to do up there is go to the beach. The small rocky beach has helped me through a lot of rough times and I just go there to reawaken my senses and have some peaceful creative me-time. Its also a time where I like to replenish my sea-glass stock!
The scenery there is absolutely amazing; from the ferries, the dock, baby seals, graveyard, the lighthouse, the sunsets and view of Whidbey Island, it is one of the only reasons I like to return to that little town.
I went with my sister Nicole and my Baby Bambi (pictured below) but I usually go by myself. In my opinion, it is good to have a special spot that you go to alone for some spiritual wellness and rejuvenation. It doesn't have to be a sprawling beautiful place; down here at University I have just a small cherry tree, probably insignificant to most but it makes me feel calm. Really, go out and find a special spot if you don't have one already.
